Good morning

Its a sunny Sunday morning here in el paso Texas. Everyone else is still sleeping so I have some alone time right now . I should prob be getting ready for church but I've still got enough time I think.
Austin had a rough night , up a few times sobbing and complaining that he hurts. I think it must have been growing pains cause he kept pulling up his legs. he never wakes up During the night.  Ariana on the other hand likely would have almost slept straight through had it not been for him waking her up. But all in all God is good and like someone once wrote its not about how many hrs of sleep you get as a mom its about being joyful regardless and being thankful for the rest you did get.
I thought las Cruces (40 minutes north from here )was bad but can I say this is just barren dry and dusty. As were driving along the freeway we seen into mexico and seen their flag waving. We picked the best Rv  park in this town it is fenced and gated and they have a security guard at the gate all night so we feel safe here but this park is nothing fancy. Laundry room smells like wet dog and not a speck of greenery in the park. One of my least favourite towns we've stayed in so far.
They seem to have pretty high up shopping plaza. s here though shopping isn't my most fav thing to do.
We are here till April 2 or so. Then we head home and come back april16 the ish to Tuscan az.
I will be going home to Canada for 5 days over the April 12th wknd with Ariana. A cousin is getting married and its my only chance to see my family for a little while. I am taking the bus. So the time at home will fly by.
Looking forward to cleaning up my flowerbeds and doing a little sewing for Ariana. I have so many ideas for dresses for her I caint wait to try.
It gets flat out hot here some days . But hey heat is way better than ice and snow . I take the children out every morning to play in the playground before it gets too warm. Ariana loves to play in the sand though its about all I can do to see her getting her hands in the sand. I am normally very lenient in what they play with and i let them explore but I just hate sandy grimyness.
I taught her how to drink from a straw and she drinks from a sippy cup by herself. She is grow in up. She loves to go get Austin up. Normally she's up before him and if I say let's go get Austin she starts waving her hands and leaning and looking in the direction of the back bedroom and gets all the more excited as I start heading that way. And if I ask her where's daddy she leans forward to try to look into our bedroom where he normally sleeps during the day.
And she puts her hand up and waves hi and also shakes her head no. She still loves her food. If anyone is eating or drinking anything she starts grunting and carrying on like she's dying of hunger. I've fed her avocado , oranges , rice with hot nacho sauce and she never flinched. The only thing she wasn't sure about at first was mashed potatoes. But she does eat them now.

Another day march 19

Well our day is looking like a greatday today. Ariana slept for a 7 hr stretch last night without wakin up ( that is amazing for her right now, maybe these teeth are finally easing off) and austin has stayed dry ever since he got up !
We spent some time outside again this am while they were both up.   Pictures,,, note the haze , that is one giant dust cloud. Caint even see the mountains and its only getting worse. This was taken at noon the exact same spot as I took the other day.
Children once again enjoyed the playground.
Austin feeding his pony some rocks.
Thanks to jan swartz for ariana,s outfit. I love the jean jacket.

Las cruces new mexico

From our am extursion in the rv park here. The view from our rv park here, what miss ariana feels like today ( shes tetthing again.), austin sporting my hat, he called it his doctor hat:) . And the playground that he could hardly wait to eat breakfast before he could go play on it.
She is taking a nap and austin is watching tv and im gonna not make any noise so she can get a good nap. Picking up the camper and dishes will just have to wait till she gets up.
Our equipent for tonight is still not at the warehouse so heres hoping it gets here on time. Derek has to go get it today, our crews are split apart for a few days so he has  to run get equipment and haul scrap during the day plus sleep.  Marlin is joining us tomorrow and brians are going home. From tomorrow on we are down to one crew with the other 2 guys doing the installs and derek doing the day running and helping out on the busy nights.   We are going home to indiana for 1 and half weeks beginning of april. Tentative dates are april 7 to 16th.

This is our break.then were at again till next spring. At one time we were so frustrated with the company we work for it crossed our minds to quit here the beginning of april but we decided to keep going. We still enjoy travelling and the work . They were not sending us the right equipment , missing equipment and so we spent a lot of time fabricating stainless steelparts and having to go back to jobs . But hopefully  they will do better with supplying us with everything we need from here on out.

New mexico/ elpaso texas

We are working close to el paso tax for the next 2 weeks.
Dry and rocky here.  Ariana is cutting two more teeth on top making it 8 teeth. She is sleeping horrible and is kinda stuffed up. So I'm still working at keeping up but struggling.  Being tired 24/7 makes it so much harder.

Loving the sun.

So much fun with jenika and rylan  (Brian's children) in the pool. I took some time off this am to have fun with the kids. Gotta take a break sometimes I guess. Its a shame not to take advantage of everything we have here. Been here almost a week and I hadnt stepped foot in the pool.
Now its back to work while they both take aft naps. Crunch time.

God is good

Feeling so blessed today. Warm sunshine, hubby has day off so loving time with him .
I set some new goals for myself and am determined to keep the camper looking neat and stay on top of things better. Am starting a new routine. It already feels like im getting more work done with my routine. I am the kind of go with the flow person and that puts a lot of added stress when I just let things happen and most times I have a million things that needs done but no game plan. So here's to hopefully a new better chapter if my life.
I want to spend more time in gods word as well and hopefully that will allow more time as well for that .
Also working on potty training Austin this week.  He's doing better than other times I've tried so praying it will be success this time.
I'll try and add a few pics on here.  Seen a wild fire on the way here to az.
Sherri Swartz here's the outfit you gave us.  Eva that adorable blue dress is finally outgrown. I loved it on her.

Bakers field ca

Well we made it to Bakersfield today. HaD about a 2 hr drive  north from LA. We will be here 1 week. Then off somewhere close to the mexico border in new mexico maybe????? Not sure which state.
Highs of 20c during the day and 9 c at night. Perfect cool summer days.
I thought Ariana was just bein grouchy the last few days but come to find out she cut 2 more teeth!! She now has 4 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth at 9 months. She still loves her food and eats everything in sight. She is so much more aggressive than Austin ever was.
My aunt came to see us off before we left LA. Was so nice to be able to spend time with family.
It rained the last 3 days we were in LA . Seems we bring snow or rain with us where ever we go :)
Austin enjoyed watching the fireworks in LA. We were right beside Disney land( FYI I will never take my children to Disney land . I hate the whole fairy and princess emphasis. ) my children will learn true life not empty fantasies.
I helped work 1 night last week and am heading out at 3 am to help them finish another job tonight so I best go get some shut eye . We are doing most jobs with a 2 man crew( they require 3 but we got some hard workers he he) but there is some jobs that they need a third hand so either Brian and Sherri or I sub as the third guy.
Bakersfield looks like a rough town. Feels like mexico the way some houses look rundown and etc. So thankful we are in a gated closed Rv park.
