dec 15 to 21 our last week in sacramento

we had one killer week . 3 brand new lines back to back and then we had an extra job on Friday evening at a KFC. doing a trial store for them. there is possibly work coming up for KFC after we are done this taco bell project in march. that would only be a quick project and be done in the fall. Carolynn did a great job baby sitting our children and they were troopers having mom gone to work every night. by sat though I was barely able to function and Derek is totally wore out. we had a good 2 hour drive to reno Nevada to fly home to Indiana on sunday and we had planned to leave sat aft and get a hotel but we were both exhausted and I still had nothing packed at 2 pm. so we slept there and were gonna leave early sunday so we could get to the airport on time. it took a while to hook up to the trailor and poor Derek had to try and figure out my pathetic backing up instructions . we were running late and thought we would miss our flight cause of a possible time change but praise the lord we did not have a time change+ so did not l.os0e0 an hour

dec 8 to the 14th sacramento shade rv park

This park is a little more homey. we are surrounded by a nice wooden fence with some greenery on our site and there is flowers , orange and lemon trees full of ripe fruit in the park. two of our neighbours have nice Christmas lights set up so we are enjoying that. Austin is all about needing to decorate for Christmas this year and baking and decorating cookies etc. But im not doing much in our rv this year. hope to do some at dereks parents house. this was again a busy week , they are giving us a workout for our vacation over Christmas. we get 2 weeks off.

Dec 1 to 7

this was our last week at cal expo rv park. they only allow you to stay 30 days at a time so we moved 10 minutes up the road to another rv park on the 7th. this was another busy week work wise. Im getting behind in my sleep and my daily duties at home. again more details to come. just trying to get caught up here and ill fill in details and add pics later.

nov 24 to 30th

this week was another busy/hard week. I worked 3 full nights and no rest in sight for the next 2 weeks. more details to come. weather turned cold and rainy again.

time to update. we have had a few short work weeks which has been a nice little break. and they gave us this week totally off because of july the 4 th. So after much debate on my part we decided to fly home to Indiana to surprise everyone there and spend some time catching up with everyone. I felt like I should go see Ruben or somehow split the time with my family too but it was just too far to do both. it took awhile for me to be okay with not taking this time to encourage Ruben. but the visiting hours are only sat and sunday for 1/2 hour visits and then what would I do the rest of the week or what would Derek do by himself with the kids. I really hope to go see Ruben some wknd soon. And I guess home is Indiana now so that was part of my choice of moving down here. It's tough getting to both families when you already have to travel so far to get here and then our families being 10 hrs apart. No one knew we were coming so we surprised them good. Just showed up at the door sunday morning. We left sat aft but lost 3 hrs so it was early morning here . children did really well flying once again. they slept through most of it but Derek and I were exhausted. we had a few extra seats beside us so the kids could lay out and stretch while they slept. we are at dereks parents place. have just been catching up on some errands we needed to do and did a 1 year birthday party for Ariana last night and got to see some friends. Everything looks so lush and green here, we have not seen rain since we left 2 monthsago. and things are pretty dry in phoenix. I keep being amazed by the smell of new mowed grass and all the greenery on the trees. Have enjoyed cooler temps here too. last night was chilly. we are scheduled to fly back to phoenix sat aft, I hope ariana will feel better. she woke up early this am with a high temperature and has been fighting it all day. I think she is cutting teeth cause this is the exact same thing she did a month ago when she cut 2 molars. she has 10 teeth now.

back in phoenix

My phones and internet service has been acting up so I have not been able to post stuff. Have gobs of pics to put on here. We had a refreshing 2 weeks working north of phoenix where we had highs of 85 and lows of 45. That felt oh so good. Got to do a little sightseeing as we had an easy week with only one job. Now its back to 109 and hot. Last night at 9 it was still 102 and it felt comfortable compared to day time temps. Seriously how do people live here in the summer. We stay in our motor home all day and venture out only after the sun goes down. Dealing with an air conditioner down in my cousins camper . Not bearable in this heat!!!!!! Caint find someone to come look at it. Just two pics of her washing dishes:) and enjoying a peach. She eats like a pig and drinks like a fish!!! :) lol

Hot

We are having highs of 107 f this week. 90s feels like cool weather now. And its not even summer temps here yet. We are staying comfortable in our motor home and thank goodness naps and lunch are over the hot times. I make sure they get outside in the am or evenings.
   Life has been crazy for me. Last week I worked 4 full nights only getting about 3 hrs of sleep a day as the children still need me during the day. Wknds are spent catching up on sleep and getting sanity back in my life:) :), we are having hard jobs and types of restaurants. I really hope it eases up soon. I was only planning on helping partime  .
   Children are well Ariana getting more vocal and loves to be chased and etc. She lives for the next meal it seems:) she's getting so big and a little chubby. Sure gets around crawling but not walking on her own. Though she pulls herself up every where. She's a little daredevil.
    I really need to get some stuff done before work tonight. We are still in phoenix. We move 2 hrs north to flagstaff  az in a week and a half.

11 months

We are still in phoenix. Have been here 3 weeks now. And will be here till the end of may. This is the longest we have ever been in one spot. Feels good to settle in but derek and I both said we are ready for the next spot and something new to see. Travellihg is in our blood lol:)
    We dont care for phoenix . Seems there is a lot of homeless people on the streets and drivers are rude and cut off in front of ya and its just not a place I would like to live long term. The weather is nice and warm right now but not scorching yet. Had 2 days last week where it reached 100 f but most days it gets to sonewhere in the 80s or 90s.  I caint imagine having 110 like they can often have over the summer months.
   We did some sightseeing sat and seen some pretty desert cactus scenery. There is a uppity part of town where it looks real nice but it is deserty there.
     We went out to eat at applebees fri night and as we were leaving I noticed the beautiful row of palm trees surrounding  the parking lot and smiled. I am living my dream of living by palm trees and warm weather. I felt truly happy and content as I looked at my little family. I am so blessed to be living this adventure with the best  hubby and our dear children.
     Children are doing well, ariana is one busy girl now that she is crawling. She started crawling on her own one day. Just before she was 11 months. She loves to get into my cupboards or any trouble she can get her hands on. She is so much more aggressive than austin was.   She is back to loving to eat. And seems to be getting chunky.she didnt cooperate with pictures took her headband off and thdn tried to put it back on:) but heres a few of her being her normal self. jayleen is carolynns little girl. Kids are second cousins. 

      We have nice shade trees at our rv park and nice neighbours. Pool has been chilly still but we have stuck our feet in. They have washlines here to hang up laundry so that makes me so excited to be able to hang out my laundry. 
     I am also adding pictures of our rv spot and the motor home.    Carolynn and I took the kids to a mall one aft and I let them ride the train:)
      I have  been working again some. Most nights just a few hours to get the guys started but a few nights I worked all night. So I am doing alright at maintening things but not getting ahead on things like  my goal was. The guys keep doung better and carolynn has went a few times so it should keep getting better from here on out. The children do real well staying with carolynn, ariana is sleeping all night. I never thought that would happen.
