Hot

We are having highs of 107 f this week. 90s feels like cool weather now. And its not even summer temps here yet. We are staying comfortable in our motor home and thank goodness naps and lunch are over the hot times. I make sure they get outside in the am or evenings.
   Life has been crazy for me. Last week I worked 4 full nights only getting about 3 hrs of sleep a day as the children still need me during the day. Wknds are spent catching up on sleep and getting sanity back in my life:) :), we are having hard jobs and types of restaurants. I really hope it eases up soon. I was only planning on helping partime  .
   Children are well Ariana getting more vocal and loves to be chased and etc. She lives for the next meal it seems:) she's getting so big and a little chubby. Sure gets around crawling but not walking on her own. Though she pulls herself up every where. She's a little daredevil.
    I really need to get some stuff done before work tonight. We are still in phoenix. We move 2 hrs north to flagstaff  az in a week and a half.

11 months

We are still in phoenix. Have been here 3 weeks now. And will be here till the end of may. This is the longest we have ever been in one spot. Feels good to settle in but derek and I both said we are ready for the next spot and something new to see. Travellihg is in our blood lol:)
    We dont care for phoenix . Seems there is a lot of homeless people on the streets and drivers are rude and cut off in front of ya and its just not a place I would like to live long term. The weather is nice and warm right now but not scorching yet. Had 2 days last week where it reached 100 f but most days it gets to sonewhere in the 80s or 90s.  I caint imagine having 110 like they can often have over the summer months.
   We did some sightseeing sat and seen some pretty desert cactus scenery. There is a uppity part of town where it looks real nice but it is deserty there.
     We went out to eat at applebees fri night and as we were leaving I noticed the beautiful row of palm trees surrounding  the parking lot and smiled. I am living my dream of living by palm trees and warm weather. I felt truly happy and content as I looked at my little family. I am so blessed to be living this adventure with the best  hubby and our dear children.
     Children are doing well, ariana is one busy girl now that she is crawling. She started crawling on her own one day. Just before she was 11 months. She loves to get into my cupboards or any trouble she can get her hands on. She is so much more aggressive than austin was.   She is back to loving to eat. And seems to be getting chunky.she didnt cooperate with pictures took her headband off and thdn tried to put it back on:) but heres a few of her being her normal self. jayleen is carolynns little girl. Kids are second cousins. 

      We have nice shade trees at our rv park and nice neighbours. Pool has been chilly still but we have stuck our feet in. They have washlines here to hang up laundry so that makes me so excited to be able to hang out my laundry. 
     I am also adding pictures of our rv spot and the motor home.    Carolynn and I took the kids to a mall one aft and I let them ride the train:)
      I have  been working again some. Most nights just a few hours to get the guys started but a few nights I worked all night. So I am doing alright at maintening things but not getting ahead on things like  my goal was. The guys keep doung better and carolynn has went a few times so it should keep getting better from here on out. The children do real well staying with carolynn, ariana is sleeping all night. I never thought that would happen.

And we are done work for another week. A whole wknd off to spend time with my little family. Last night was another long one. I worked all night but felt horrible. Sore throat and tired so as soon as I get an hour or 2 of sleep I should feel better. We are on the way home from work.
    Hope to go do some sightseeing sat to a state park with josh and carolynn. Its been a long time since we did anything fun.
   We are at a nice little Rv park that actually has green grass and kids love it. This is in front of our motor home.
    Ariana slept absolutely horrible the whole time we were home and was very shy around others and screamed any time she got taken away from mommy but now she is back to her happy self and let's other people hold her and she started sleeping all night as soon as we were back in the camper. Guess she knows she's back home lol.

Getting back on schedule

Been awhile since I've been on here. We were home in Indiana for 2 weeks. Flew home and then drove the motor home back out here to phoenix az last week.
   We left Fri am and drove to Dallas tx to pick up my cousin Carolyn and her husband who will be working with us.
    Sat ( our 6 th anniversary ) spent travelling to elpaso tx  where the rest of the campers were parked at. Austin got very sick with the same bug arianna  is getting over. Stomach flu , diariah and high fever for a few days..thank goodness we were in a motor home with functional bathroom and couch for him to lay on as we drove. We transfered all our stuff from our camper that we had been living in to the motor home we will be using from now on. So much stuff even in a camper.
    We started work Monday April 21 in phoenix az.   Training josh our new guy. He is going excellent and is learning fast and doing a great job.
   I have been going every night to help as its always tough starting out. Some nights I stay all night . Other nights I stay till midnight and then go back. Carolynn is my wonderful babysitter. My children enjoy playing with her 5 year old girl.
   
Well I'm here at the job waiting for them to close so we can bring in our tools and open up our boxes and boxes of new equipment.

El paso

I did find a few spots in this park to snap some photos. We are wrapping up our stay here. I am packing today and we fly home to indiana tomorrow aft and we have 2 weeks off. I will be going home to ontario canada for 5 days with ariana to see my family over the 12  th wknd.
       This is a bare campground but the chldren have enjoyed playing in the sand, there is a playground with swings and lots of sand to the rightof the camper on the one photo.
   these are her ten month photos. Sheis wearing a dress my mom made for me and that I wore when I was a baby. Too precious!!  Ariana kept loking for austin on the photos so I got a good one of her straining to see her faourite playmate. We have went for lots of walks too.
     Finally got my taxes wrapped up . Its hard to do them when you dont have all the papers and info on hand. I was balancing my checkbook from a year ago. Thats how behind I was.
    Well gotta run and get started as my day will be too short. We are parking the campers and trailors here at the storage area behind this rv park.

Good morning

Its a sunny Sunday morning here in el paso Texas. Everyone else is still sleeping so I have some alone time right now . I should prob be getting ready for church but I've still got enough time I think.
   Austin had a rough night , up a few times sobbing and complaining that he hurts. I think it must have been growing pains cause he kept pulling up his legs. he never wakes up During the night.  Ariana on the other hand likely would have almost slept straight through had it not been for him waking her up. But all in all God is good and like someone once wrote its not about how many hrs of sleep you get as a mom its about being joyful regardless and being thankful for the rest you did get.
     I thought las Cruces (40 minutes north from here )was bad but can I say this is just barren dry and dusty. As were driving along the freeway we seen into mexico and seen their flag waving. We picked the best Rv  park in this town it is fenced and gated and they have a security guard at the gate all night so we feel safe here but this park is nothing fancy. Laundry room smells like wet dog and not a speck of greenery in the park. One of my least favourite towns we've stayed in so far.
   They seem to have pretty high up shopping plaza. s here though shopping isn't my most fav thing to do.
    We are here till April 2 or so. Then we head home and come back april16 the ish to Tuscan az.
I will be going home to Canada for 5 days over the April 12th wknd with Ariana. A cousin is getting married and its my only chance to see my family for a little while. I am taking the bus. So the time at home will fly by.
Looking forward to cleaning up my flowerbeds and doing a little sewing for Ariana. I have so many ideas for dresses for her I caint wait to try.
    It gets flat out hot here some days . But hey heat is way better than ice and snow . I take the children out every morning to play in the playground before it gets too warm. Ariana loves to play in the sand though its about all I can do to see her getting her hands in the sand. I am normally very lenient in what they play with and i let them explore but I just hate sandy grimyness.
   I taught her how to drink from a straw and she drinks from a sippy cup by herself. She is grow in up. She loves to go get Austin up. Normally she's up before him and if I say let's go get Austin she starts waving her hands and leaning and looking in the direction of the back bedroom and gets all the more excited as I start heading that way. And if I ask her where's daddy she leans forward to try to look into our bedroom where he normally sleeps during the day.
    And she puts her hand up and waves hi and also shakes her head no. She still loves her food. If anyone is eating or drinking anything she starts grunting and carrying on like she's dying of hunger. I've fed her avocado , oranges , rice with hot nacho sauce and she never flinched. The only thing she wasn't sure about at first was mashed potatoes. But she does eat them now.
